Margie searched employment in community work. Little did she know that discovering Circles would inspire her to do so much more. She now works with families and helps them in their journey to financial stability.
I discovered Circles on the Internet, while searching for employment. Interested in community work, I was looking for something in that field. During one of my searches, I found a video of a single mother talking about her experience at a group called Circles. It inspired me. I felt the power of her words and knew then the type of community work I would like to do: community work that would enable and empower individuals and families to move forward in their lives in their own way.
I know the work I do at Circles is effective and meaningful. It helps individuals and families move out of poverty in a permanent way.
Circles has given me that. As my Circle Leaders set goals, work and struggle through their various lives and situations, I get to watch from the sidelines, cheer them on and (when asked) play a small part in their journey. Because of this, I know the work I do at Circles is effective and meaningful. It helps individuals and families move out of poverty in a permanent way.
